A Snow Day In Tennessee!

A Snow Day In Tennessee!

It isn’t often that we get 4-5 inches of snow!  In fact, I think it’s been 12 or 13 years since we had that amount!  On Friday it started falling and that night Abba and us children went out for a walk.

On Sabbath the whole family went out to play in the snow!  It was very powdery and didn’t pack well for snowballs but we had fun sledding!  Actually, I didn’t sled but I think everyone else did!A Snow Day In Tennessee!

  1. We live in Tennessee, but in the western part of the state. We got a dusting, but nothing quite like this. Looks beautiful and I love how you all enjoyed it as a family. Thanks for linking through Modest Monday.

  2. It looks beautiful. We are in the foothills of NC, and we had about 6 inches of powdery snow, too. It was wonderful to enjoy time together out of doors. Your pictures are so good! I especially like the shot of the barn! Thank you for sharing!

  3. These pictures are so beautiful! Sounds like you had a good base of ice under the snow to do some sledding 🙂 Thanks for sharing your fun day as a family! We enjoyed the pics of all your animals too. I really love how God puts such beauty into every season.

  7. I’m glad your family enjoyed the snow. We moved across the country this past weekend and had to rescedule a flight because of the storm!

  8. Your snowy photos are just so wonderful! My son lives in a rural area near Columbia, TN and where you live looks very much like the country around there. They also got several inches of snow. There is nothing quite as fun as a good snow day!

  9. Oh yes, wood heat is definitely a blessing 🙂 I could not imagine a home without our wood burning stove.

My dear friend, what beautiful pictures of the snow and your family. It looks like all of you had a delightful time {{smiles}} And your home is ever so quaint and cozy.
