What Would You Like To See On Radical Femininity?

We’re approaching a new year.  2016 will begin in a few days.

Does anyone else think that time goes by faster the older you get?  It sure seems that way to me!

As we being 2016, we would like to know what are your thoughts concerning this blog.  Two years ago, we began this online adventure for two reasons: we wanted to encourage other ladies who delight in femininity, and we wanted to help supplement the family income.  This is why on some days you may see posts about allowing the Father to bless your womb, how Christians should react to homosexual marriages, or why Israel should be important to us … and other days you may see a classy country outfit, a Lilla Rose hair accessories giveaway, a chicken enchilada recipe, or a post about carseat baby blankets!

(For a list of our 25 most popular posts, you’re welcome to visit our two-year anniversary post!)

We would like to know what we can do to make this website a blessing to you.  What type of posts are your favorite and what would you like to see more of?

  • Family-related?
  • Healthy recipes?
  • Cottage Industries?
  • Modest Outfits?
  • Titus 2?
  • Reviews/Giveaways?
  • Hebraic Roots?
  • Discounts/Sales?

Please leave a comment or send us an email with your thoughts.  If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to share them.  There are thousands of blogs and online resources swirling around cyberspace, and I don’t want to blog just because it’s “the thing to do”.  There are too many projects calling for my attention and as much as I enjoy this blog, I don’t want to waste our time.  Your feedback and interaction is what gives us the inspiration to carry on so please let us know what you’re thinking!

Have a great week, y’all! 😉

  1. I love the blog and everything it entails. But I also know how busy you stay with SSM and other duties. If it came down to it, just my opinion, I’d rather see the magazine continue, even if you had to give up the blog. I realize this blog may reach more than SSM alone, but unless you have something showing you how many ‘hits’ you get on it, you’ll not know. With the magazine you do know. If you did decide to give up the blog, why couldn’t you incorporate some items from the blog into the magazine? Just a thought.
    Love you…

    1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We definitely have a greater online outreach with this blog than with SSM (online) so we’ll see. One of the reasons I started this blog was because I didn’t want to make SSM all about our family … whereas this one is more personal. I do enjoy having this site, I just want to operate it in the way that is most efficient and practical! Love y’all!

  2. I thoroughly enjoy this blog. I would hate to see it disappear. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this blog. The posts are always interesting. I like all of the posts. If I had to pick a few favorites it would be the reviews/giveaways, the family-related and the Hebraic Roots. Thank you for this blog, which I am so grateful to have discovered. Wishing you and yours a Happy,Healthy, New Year full of blessings.

  3. I love all of your posts. I know it’s one more thing to “keep up” with but even infrequent posts are a treat! I would love to hear (“read”) your mom write more about child discipline, strong willed children, how she mothered through the various stages and ages of motherhood. You girls/ladies writing more of what is on your heart as you walk through the world pretty much in opposite to the world’s values. That is always encouraging!! Blessings and Happy New Year!

    1. Thank you so much for the encouragement, Ashley. I definitely hope that my mother can share more in the near future … she has her hands pretty full right now!

  4. This is a very inspiring blog!! it’s very much enjoyed way back here in Belgium! I really like all that I read! I’ve enjoyed many posts and have been encouraged a lot already! I love about any post, I love the modest outfits, the food you make, the review and giveaways, the feast you celebrate, lives difficult questions and answers ect, simply all that’s going on!
This blog is a light on the worldwide web!
P.s you don’t waste your time!!
    Love and blessings!.

  5. My goodness…..I can’t decide which category I’d like to hear more of, because I just love your blog in general! 🙂 –Sorry…I know I’m not much of a help!–I don’t know of any other Hebraic-minded blog that encourages femininity quite like this one, except for the Shining Stars site, of course. But I especially enjoy this one because it’s more personal. You young ladies are quite the light for Yeshua (to Belgium and beyond!) 😉 It has been a delight to follow along this past year. <3

  6. Here are some thoughts for you ….. When you’re stuck, the Eternal always has more for you – as you already know!! ….. The Eternal can teach you how to profit – not via a monetary economy, but by an economy based on His ways/law/Torah ….. To turn things around, people need to need you more than you need them ….. Do any of these interest you – teaching people how to use a concordance (Young’s is pretty straight forward); perhaps a short scripture study for discussion (the truth is free); untold history (eg pre 1963 publish date Encyclopaedia Britannica history) like Protestants and idolatry and the Eternal’s law; whatever is authentic to you – although this really comes to the fore when you marry & start a life of your own. (I was a daughter at home, & married at 27. That’s nearly 10 years ago.)
Your priorities are important. Work with them.

  7. I agree whole heartedly with everyone else about loving this blog! I’m not a big blog reader, but this is one of the blogs I thoroughly enjoy browsing (with hebrewhillbillies being the second!). I enjoy all your posts, but probably my favorites are the recipes and “personal” type articles/posts (whether that’s a testimony, lesson learned/learning, advice, word of wisdom, etc). Make sense? Hopefully. Lol Love y’all!!
