Pink, White And Navy Stripes

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all well!  We ladies here at Radical Femininity have decided to start sharing some of the modest outfits that we have compiled.  Before going any further, I want to say that there are many different understandings of what modest clothing is.  For the ladies in our family, we only wear skirts and dresses – we do not wear pants or shorts.  We do not put that conviction on other people, or say that you are immodest if you dress differently, but that is what the Heavenly Father has led us to do.

So without further ado … today I’m sharing an outfit that I enjoy wearing in the summer time for casual occasions.

I bought this skirt from a thrift store for under $5 and the white top for $1.  And I borrowed the pink tee from my sister … it is really nice to have sisters with whom you can share clothes 🙂

This was a sloppy bun; I really have no idea what I did that day!  But it was held up by a Large Crown of Hearts flexi clip.  I also wore a Clean Cotton tichel from Hannah’s Headcoverings.

And I added a pink ribbon to break up the solid white headcovering.  I was also wearing a pair of silver loop earrings from HFE Jewelry.

That is all for now, but stay tuned for more!

On another note, Lilla Rose is having a 48 hour sale beginning right now!  You can get free shipping on orders over $40 … and 10% off these Color Basics – the newest additions to the product line!  Order using this link and if you’re a brand new customer and you buy three items, contact us after placing your order so that you can get a fourth item free!

Also, they are offering free shipping on enrollment orders/startup kits so if you have been thinking about becoming a Lilla Rose consultant – either just to get the 30% discount for yourself or to sell the products to others – today or tomorrow would be a great time to do it!

  1. Lovely outfit!
It is awesome that you found your clothes at great prices at a thrift store. I am super frugal, so I always look for good deals on clothing. You demonstrate how you can find great clothes that meet your needs at a great price!

    1. Thank you for your comment Shannon. My sisters and I learn when the sales are at the different stores and then we try and shop on those days when we are needing something. Sometimes thrift stores do not have what we are looking for, but a lot of the time they do and it is a fun way of shopping! Blessings.

  2. I really like the ribbon idea ! That way you it can be changed up with the outfit and not need a whole new covering . BRILLIANT !
I would love for you to come and share your modest outfits starting June 3rd on What-to-Wear Wednesdays at King Maker blog .
    Blessings ,

    1. Yes! I have several different laces and ribbons for this reason! I love that you can so easily change the look of a headcovering without adding a lot of weight or thickness to it!
Thank you for your invitation … we’ll have to come over and visit!
      Blessings.

  3. Wow! A $6 outfit is impressive and it’s super cute too :). Love the bun! I need to try to learn how to do a better bun for summer. It’s such a pretty and classy look.

    1. Thank you! I’m glad you liked the bun … it was very unintentional:) I used to have a really hard time keeping buns up, but using Flexi clips has really helped me!
      Blessings.
